This years family reunion was GREAT (it is always great) we had so much fun just being together. Enjoy some of my memories...

We played relay games that really tested our ability to CHEAT!!!!

The kids love to take Every pillow we have in the house and make a huge pile on the living room floor. Well this night they did not get all of them but we just sat back and watched what they were going to do.....

We laughed all night they had a good time, lets hope they don't get use to it.. My Mom will be very mad when she See's what I let them do. I guess we will call this one Enjoying the Small things.

A visit to papa Percy

Rays dad had never met Brody or Dax so Ray and I thought it would be fun to drive to California and take the kids with us.... Oh boy the trip did not start so well, this is what we saw for 2 hours trying to get to Vegas. It took us 8 hours to do a 6 hour trip. We knew with the boys we would need to make the trip in 2 days. Good thing!

We waited so long someone had time to make a snowman in the inside lane of I-15

This was one of 3 accidents that cause such a mess it was a trailer pulling a double load of the Huge hay.. not the little ones the GREAT big ones we had to wait for the snowplow to clear the road and the forklift to put the hay back on.

Finally we made it to the beach. it was a gorgeous day we were so happy to find the sun.

These little baby toes are so dang cute I had to share them.

Dax LOVED the beach he didn't want shoes on and he wanted in the water......

We dug for the sand crabs and found some Brody was amazed.

Now remember how I said Daxie LOVED the beach... Brody NOT so much.! This is how he looked most of the day he wanted NOTHING to do with the water. I better tell you this was after we got hit with a wave looking for the sand crabs.. Sorry Brody Grandpa was not very good at keeping you dry. I however did a better job with Daxie.

We left and went to another beach that had the tide pools so we could see all the sea life and maybe make Brody happy. Ummmmmm not so much.

I just love this little boy he is not afraid of ANYTHING.

After a long day of crying Brody had had it. He wanted to ''Just go to our home" he kept saying he kind of made me sad. he will now tell you he wants to go to the beach so a 10 hour road trip must do something to the mind.

The boys loved meeting Papa Percy and Papa Percy was happy to meet them. Brody just followed him around asking questions...

Coming home we stopped at Tiffany's house again to break up the drive and we love to go to the Green Valley Resort with the buffet you get all the crab legs you want and boy does Ray love Crab.

Hello from the Hogle Zoo. Last Saturday was a perfect day to go to the Zoo not to hot or to cold.. We did not know if the kids would like it or not but they ended up having a great time.

The peacock would never raise his tail for us but still very pretty.

Brody likes the Snakes, me NOT SO MUCH..

Ray and Brody stood and watched the Lion for a long time this new part of the zoo is very nice not feeling so bad that our taxes are going for this.

Dax loved being able to just run in the building were the Giraffes are he wanted to climb in with them.

It really was a beautiful day to play.

The little baby elephant Zuri is so cute and just stays right by her Mommy.

While still being stuck in the house from the cold Brody thought he could make his own fun by jumping into the pillow off of Grandmas bed little did he know that the window sill was hiding behind them and when he jumped he got a BIG surprise.... No stitches but LOTS of blood.

We took a road trip so Grandma Little could visit with her Sister and Brother in Kemmerer Wy. They are so cute together.

My Mom and Dad still love each other after all these years.

Brody turned 3!! I am pretty sure he is growing WAY to fast. He is going to be a Rock Star.

Daxie learned to walk and always wants his coat on so we can go outside but he never wants his clothes on.

For Christmas we got a Ice cream maker so we like to try new kinds each week too bad it ALL tastes GREAT. Brody can't stand waiting for it to get done, he sit like this the entire 15 minutes Thank goodness it only takes that long.

Dax didn't really like Santa this year, Santa came to see us at my Mom and Dads ward Christmas party this year.

Everything was good for Ray this year.

The boys loved Christmas and since that is what it is all about we had lots of smiles.

I love to be downtown to see the lights come on the day after Thanksgiving, This year someone that Ray knows told us about a celebration and lights at the Grand America Hotel so we packed up the kids and left to see what it was all about.. Well we had the best time ever. We didn't think it would be inside so it was a lot colder than we thought it would be but they had all kinds of things to do.

Lots of HOT CHOCOLATE, Scones and the roasted flavored almonds yummy...

As long as Dax had a drink he was a happy man.

They did a tour of the Hotel so we went in to get warm. This is looking out of the Presidential Suite.

They also started the Angel Tree. This tree was FULL of elderly people that just wanted a blanket. It made me stop and think how very grateful we are to have a nice warm home and family that loves us and helps us along the way.

They also had a place to decorate gingerbread men so we did that too.. the kids had more fun eating the candy. (Ray that is)

We had to wait in line to have our picture taken with Santa to bad Dax HATED IT....

They also had an auction of Gingerbread houses for JDF (Juvenile Diabeties Foundation)

This is the inside of one of them I could not believe the work that went into them.

We had a lot of fun that night can't wait until next year. It was the perfect way to start the Christmas season.

8,9,10 Off to Brithish Columbia,Victoria Island, Sidney, Seattle ,Yellowstone and Home.

OK so this is the last of the trip... We decided since we were there we should drive across to BC see all that we could then come home.

What a fun place to see the weather was PERFECT and the sights were incredible.

I just have never seen flowers so big and beautiful maybe I am just jealous I don't have the Green Thumb that they have, I loved the flowers so much

We had to get on 2 different Ferries to see the Islands so this is on our way to Sidney.

I was scared to death to drive the car on the ferrie. They are mean and if you don't go or do just as they think you should they yell, Yes I did get yelled at because I left to much room in between our car and the one in front of us.

Sidney is the cutest place it was amazing to me to see just how big the Islands are even surrounded by water. I guess I need to get out more.

This transfer took 4 hours so we took lots of pictures we saw lots of jelly fish and a few seals on our journey we also met very nice people who told us alot about the Islands.

Friday Harbor is a little Island with LOTS of money and we found out lots of people go there on the weekends to party and play.

It was so pretty I could live there, I don't think I would like the ferrie travel all the time though

On to Seattle it was a little bit cold this day but it did end up being nice as the sun burned off the fog.

we spent a long time in Pikes market place WOW I could have just pulled up a chair to people watch it was great.

We were there on Labor day with a Million other people but that didn't stop us we still had a ball. The fish market was the best. If you have no idea about what it is about go here. http://www.pikeplacefish.com/

We couldn't come home without stopping in Yellowstone. This was the second time we have been there this year I still love this place. We had a Awesome trip and this was the perfect way to end it I can't wait tell next year. Oh Where will we go...???

Jasper day 6&7

Jasper is such a pretty place and the funniest if you like to hike and really be in nature. There was so much to do here we only scratched a very small part of it.

All the water around here is this color because they are ALL glacier feed.

You can see all the glaciers just driving down the road they are all different in size this was a big one..

Lots of water falls to this one was so long it was called Bridal veil.

This is at Athabasca It is the name of the river that makes up these falls They are incredible to see, they are also very noisy They put off so much mist that the ground is always wet.

It truly was a incredible site

On the way to Jasper is the columbia ice field

The water coming from this Glacier is about 100 years old. it was so blue and crystal clear. people brought their water bottles up to the glacier and were filling them with the water.... I was NOT that brave but Ray did try it out of his hands and said it was great.

This is the ice explorer that took us to the glacier.

I was nervous when it was time to get out.... not as scared as Bill and Jeanette though..

Standing on the Glacier was pretty awesome I must say.

More water and all the signs say around this part "This is NOT a playground" so of course we had to get our pictures by it... Please notice who is NOT in the pictures.

The animals there as I have said before are so friendly this one wanted to go home with us.

These pictures are from a hike called the 6th bridge it is like uncle toms cabin if you have ever done that in Yellowstone you just keep going DOWN, DOWN, DOWN don't get me wrong I love the going down but I know I have to come UP, UP, UP.... that is the hard part.

We didn't make the all the way it was getting to dark and we were afraid we would have a hard time coming back up in the dark.... there is always next time.

The town of Jasper is the smallest of the towns we saw but the flowers are just a big and pretty as they can be.

Jasper was and still is a rail town so this train is in the middle of town.

I really can't Believe Ray and I have been Married for 25 years. It seems like just yesterday that I was still in High School and minding my own business when Elder Sain came into my life.
I love You.. You have made me the person I am today, Sometimes a little goofy and crazy but that is NOT a bad thing Thanks for being my BEST FRIEND! Happy Anniversary

Banff Day 4&5

Banff was a beautiful and fun place to stay it is kind of funny you have to go into the park before you get to the towns so that was a little bit different and of course you have to pay first, in Canada you pay per person per day...

the town is great it is lined with shops and more shops you could walk up and down the streets for hours they have every type of shopping you can think of. The flowers are very pretty too I think if must be the climate.

We found a great Mexican place to eat it was tiny inside and a little different than we are use to but it had great food. The people that work in Canada are awesome very nice and very helpful.

We found a hike call Johnston falls and it was the greatest, the trails are so well maintained it is really fun to see the difference in the national parks. They really do use the money for good I think we just use it to pay the off duty rangers.

This one is just so you can see the trail and the depth of the hike and how high above the water we were.

Ray can NEVER stay where is suppose to be so if you look real hard you will find him under the waterfall

We went to Lake Louise to see the lake that is on all the travel things you see and boy I now know why is is so so pretty. The water is always the same color blue, blue and you can't see into it.

This is looking at the glacier that feeds the lake. We rowed to the end of this see below...

Ray had to talk really hard but it wanted to go on the canoe so bad and I did not I cried I was so scared the water is 32 degrees and you can see anything but blue...... I don't swim! he promised me we would be OK and that I would not drowned I don't think to this day my mom believes it, she did not want us to go, we did and it ended up being very fun it was a lot of work but what a awesome experience it took us about 15 minutes to get to the end and about 45 minutes to get back.. Ray must have not done any rowing.?

Then on to Lake Moraine same blue color but this one has a lot more logs that come down when the snow melts

Waterton Day 2 & 3

This was such a beautiful place and we had only crossed the border...

Montana's Glacier National Park and Alberta's Waterton Lakes National Park meet at the border between the United States and Canada. In 1932, the parks were designated the first international Peace Park to commemorate the bonds of peace and friendship between the two nations.
Although Glacier and Waterton Lakes National Parks are administered by separate countries, they cooperate to manage their natural and cultural resources. The wild plants and animals ignore political boundaries and claim the mountainous terrain on both sides of the border.

This is there version of the Old Faithful Inn very pretty and VERY pricey with only 86 rooms and they are always full, we had a good time looking inside, it over looks lake waterton so the view is to die for.

The outside was just as pretty with flowers everywhere

The one thing we noticed in Canada is they do not try and hide there wildlife they TELL you where you can go to find them, there is never any park ranger around trying to scare you and them. This little guy we found just about 5 minutes after being in the park

You can just drive up and down the road and find bear it was very exciting to us since we are so use to being chased away.. this day we saw 6 bears, one was a momma with 2 little cubs she had hid them and we watched her chase a Big black bear away from them and when it was over she got them and took them up the mountain very fun just to sit and watch.

They really are close to the roads and not very hard to find.

Waterton has a scenic cruise you can take that allows you to see the beautiful scenery and it also takes you to a place called Goat Haunt which is in Montana so you cross International boundaries but unless you plan on hiking you do not need your passport at the end you can get off and walk around part of the lake you just don't try and cross or stay in the USA unless you have all your paperwork..

This is the border patrol at Goat Haunt Ray and my Mom walked to see what trouble they could get in but they came back Really fast, they do not mess with that at all.

I was just amazed at the border so that is why there is another picture while you are on the boat it stops so half is in Canada and half is in the USA.

The water is so pretty you just can't get enough of it.

After the cruise we stopped at a little place called Waterton pizza everyone that knew we where going and had been there told us we needed to stop and eat there...... they were right it was yummy.

Even my Dad had to eat a piece, fun, fun little place. no Gluten free that day. but it was OK and he felt fine.

The deer are not at all afraid of people and everyplace has to have there flowers fenced because they are all over

In Waterton they have waterfalls at the end of town so we stopped to see the first of MANY that we would see.

Then we went on the Cameron Lake we wanted to go out on the lake but the weather was not being our friend that day the wind was blowing and it was getting pretty cool so we didn't go but it was such a beautiful place

We went to a place called Red Rock canyon and did some hiking to a place called Blankston falls wow!!! they are awesome when we got back to the car these mountain goats were just laying by the car not one bit afraid of people.

Our Trip to the Canadian Rockies Day 1/12

Ray and I and My parents wanted to go on vacation and do something super fun so being the Travel guide that my mother is we put her in charge of the planning, and boy did she do a GREAT job... I am going to post in days so it is not so long and boring for you. I have to do this for me because it was the best place and the funniest thing we have done.
The first night we drove to Dillon Mt and stayed the night and then made our way through Glacier and on to the Border.. I have to say I didn't think it was really a big deal but when we got to the border my feelings all changed.

As we waited for our turn we talked a little about the freedoms we have and how lucky we are to live where we do. We were a little bit afraid of the health care system just in case we needed it. Thank goodness all was well and we didn't

I took this picture and had to keep it because after we went through the border Ray asked if we could take a picture with him and he told us NO he had been a Navy Seal for America and could not have his face out in pictures...... (am I terrible) oh well I like the picture.

The border was amazing to me it is as far as you can see it takes the men 5 weeks to do both sides from top to bottom it is about 10ft across and straight..

Here we go the adventure begins... Up next the beautiful Town of Waterton.

Our Family Trip to Yellowstone

A BIG thank you to my Mom and Dad for the great trip we just took to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. We had so much fun and did a lot of fun things.... Sorry the post is long.

The First day we got there was Dax's first birthday so we had to have cake. He loved it and thought it was great he got to eat the whole thing.

The token picture of the Buffalo, we did see lots of animals and even a grizzly that was harassing 2 herds of elk but not close enough to take a picture.

This is the place that we called home for 3 days it is in Colter Bay and it is one of our favorite places to be, lots of cabins and lots of open space.

We stopped at the firehole falls. Braxton had to show us how fit he is.

We spent a day at Old Faithful it was a beautiful day.

lots and lots of people.

this is the day we spent at Jenny lake it rained on us but I love this place.

Then came picture time........ not an easy task with the entire family so the Boys had to show us there fine tuned bodies.. ha ha ha

Brandon was VERY proud to let me feel his chest.. Have you ever seen such a White belly???? Ray get some sun.!

The pictures turned out great and we have tons of fun filled memories.

4th of JUly

Little Wild Horse Family Weekend

I know we have shared pictures of this great canyon before but this time it is a different view

The Day was beautiful and we were all ready to go

Happy to be in the slot canyon. Until we looked like ............

This, We found water and lots of it the first bit of water was soooo cold we didn't think we could do it will all the little kids, but they never said one word we just kept walking we had all be so excited to be going as a family we had to do it. After the first little bit of water it really did get warmer...

Of course we needed a family picture so we made the others behind us take our picture,, not sure they were to happy standing in the water.

It would go back and forth water , lots of water and then dry.

Little Dax was so good he never cried or said a word in the backpack he LOVED it.

Check out my Dad's legs they are so skinny, but this is just to show how deep the water was in some spots.

Sometimes even though Lindsey has shorts on it almost touched the bottom of them you never knew when it would get deep.

We all had a great time and will do it again anytime.... Anyone game?

Happy Easter and Happy Birthday to Ray

April 12th was a big day at our house it was Easter and Ray's birthday... how did he get so lucky?
The Easter bunny made it to our house and the boys were very happy. Dax got a little basketball hoop and Brody got a fun climbing toy so when and if it gets warm he can go outside to play.

While we were trying to hid candy Brandon found a ring pop and put it in his mouth, Brody wanted it so bad he kept asking for Brandon to pick him up...little did Brandon know it was because he wanted the ring pop.

After a lot of cute faces he finally got the ring pop he would not put it down the whole time he was hunting for candy.. he loved the thing.

After dinner and candy hunting it was time to celebrate Rays Birthday. He was feeling a little cheated that he had to share the day.

Today I got the best surprise you could ask for. The delivery man came to the office with a delivery for ME??? Me? Everyone started to ask if it was a special day for me, as I walked up to the front of the office I am thinking No it is just a normal day.... The cute Man asked are you Tracy? of course I said yes and then he said these are for you... he pointed to the card and said this is who they are from.. Lindsey, Jon, Brody and Daxie.. I started to cry and said thank you.

Wow look at all the strawberries and chocolate.. YUMMY!!! this made my week what cute kids I have. Thank you I love you guys.

Today since Lindsey and Jon are gone and I am watching the kids AND trying to work I put Dax in the johnny jumper, he loves it and as you can see so does the dog.

Jaxson never leaves the side of the boys he is always with them and is such a good dog around them.

I had to take a video this was so funny he was just having a good time and laughing and talking and then I heard nothing....

Little Dax's says I am Loved, Jamies sister made this shirt for him, I think it is a reminder to us all that even though he tries our patients he is the cutest little thing around.

The kindness of others

As I stop to think about what this life is really all about I can't help but share this story. When Tyler was in the hospital I would call and check on her and make sure all was well and that Kristy was doing OK... Everyday the cute girls at work would ask how is Tyler, how is she doing today, everyday without fail. One day one of the girls asked me is Tyler's name was spelled the normal way without thinking I said yes, never thinking about again until one morning I was sitting at my desk and and all of a sudden in front of my face was a box with a very happy smile behind it, as Heidi spoke these words to me, remember don't look for the imperfections??? (we had talked about doing projects and how hard we can be on ourselves when they don't look just the way we think they should be) I opened the box and there was the cutest blanket that had been made just for Tyler with her name embroidered on it and a saying Sugar and Spice and everything nice...
I started to cry after I realized why she had asked me about how to spell her name? bless her heart at the MOST busy time of the year she had taken her time and her Aunts time (she did the stitching) to make this blanket for someone that she did not even know. Needless to say she made me stop and think about how everyday we can doing something that will make people smile. There truly is Great people that walk among us.

She grinned from ear to ear, Thanks to all of you that make someones day everyday!

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning started great we had 2 feet of snow and NO power so that means no heat,no Christmas music, and No breakfast.. We really did have a great Christmas and hope you did too.

Santa found us and I think he left way to much....
Brody was so excited to open his presents at first but it got old fast he just wanted to play with the sock monkey in a box.
Dax loved it all and wanted to eat all the paper,
Jon got the hat he wanted and was very happy to show it off.
Ray got an Ipod touch and was happy to get playing
Lindsey got diamond earrings and was more than happy to show them off
Tracy got a new lap top and is not sure what to do now..
Jamie got her favorite shoes but couldn't wear them because there was way to much snow
Jon got the game Killer Bunnies anyone up for a game?
Zach got new sheets and movies he is ready for bed and a movie...

Finding and Decorating the tree

Thank goodness when we went to find the Christmas tree it was pretty nice weather. I think we had more fun putting the kids in the trees.

After the tree comes home it is Rays job to put all the lights on..... Then the fun begins Everyone decorates the tree each person has to fine the perfect space.... (hint you find it more than once when Brody and Logan are helping.)

This was Mom's idea of helping to decorate the tree... (oh no they touched the ornaments again!!) We had a great time and a lot of fun getting ready to have tons of Christmas spirit in our home..

Pumpkin Carving and Trick or Treating

The time had come to carve the pumpkins all was well until Lindsey pulled the top off Brody wanted NOTHING to do with the stuff hanging off the top he was very happy to just sit and watch everyone else take care of the mess.

Auntie James brought the boys a goody bad filled will all sorts of fun things.. don't you just love teeth, we could not stop laughing, everytime we looked at them it all started over. They were good sports and let us take pictures and laugh.

But the best thing Brody got was his flashlight he held it like this all night even when he was walking down the road... We hope you all had a Great Halloween and stayed warm and safe.

right after I took this picture Brody threw the pumkin an was done for the night.. Next up pumpkin carving... we will see how that goes.

As we were trying to clean up all the leaves tonight Brody could not get over all the leaves falling off the tree and all of them on the ground he just kept running in them falling down in them and rolling around in them.

Then he wanted his brother with him

He thought it was pretty funny when Ray would blow them at him and he was throwing them at the same time.

He tried to get more off the tree but when it didn't work he went back to running in them.

The new toy. Saturday we went to Lowe's and while we were there we stopped to look at all the Christmas things, it was cool and rainy so it made it even better to be looking. I found this little snow globe and handed it to Brody he loved it his new best friend.
He played all day with that thing, it plays 11 Christmas songs over and over and over.
he studied it until I thought for sure he would be tired of it but he would not put it down
Even when he could hardly keep his eyes open he was holding it. Well worth the money. I was thinking it may have been a little to early for something like that but then we woke up to this....
Thank goodness not to much but enough for me and the middle of October.

We thought with the last of the warm weather we better get the yard cleaned up and get the Halloween decorations out.. Of course Brody Loves to follow his Grandpa.....
What would a lawn mow be without taking out a sprinkler.? I think we have replaced more this year than ever.. Never fear it happened again tonight
At our house Jon absolutely HATES spiders so what did we have to put out??? You got it a Great Big spider web

Ray loves the pumpkins so we line the house with those.
Brody just likes to help. After a long night of helping Grandpa get the yard ready he was just happy to hold a pumpkin.

The Utah State Fair....

After waiting for a year it was that time again the UTAH STATE FAIR.. We love to go and EAT our way through the fair Corn, Corn dogs and Fried Snickers???
We Always go and there was no getting out of it even if Mom did trip and Fall at the "BLIND CENTER"
Brody did not like the pony ride, he really wanted nothing to do with it but Grandma made him go I have waited all year, Last year they wouldn't let me tie the car seat on the pony!
So all night long Jamie had been saying how she could not wait to eat the fried snickers but we wanted to wait until Jon joined us to get one. So we get in a line that is a mile long......no joke! and when it is our turn to order they say NO MORE Snickers!!!
I really thought Jamie was going to cry.. Look at her face she really was. Then the lady at the counter says I have two left and if no one in THIS line( there was 2 lines one for ordering and one for picking up) wants one You can have it Jamie starts to jump up and down. Thank goodness no one did and she got her fried snickers...

She was the happiest girl around I think that the people waiting in the 2 lines got a bigger kick out of seeing how sad she was when she thought she would not get one and then finding out how happy she was one she did.

Over Labor day we went to Colter bay to Relax...
And see Buffalo and 2 Grizzly Bears. We, well, Mom and I saw them Ray was parking the car and Dad was trying to get out of the car... You will have to ask why there is no pictures... We were CHARGED by the two little things... Of course the Ranger was there and told us to go......... so Mom Tried to run I knew I could not run so I just stood and held my Mom's arm and told her not to run.... I think that they were just playing (the bear cubs) but the ranger made everyone very nervous. It really was a flash before your eyes kind of thing.

Bronson and Kristy have decided that they do not like the Snow anymore and needed to get out of it. They have moved to St George. As we were helping them move it really hit me how lucky we are to have all lived so close together and having them gone is making me sad. I am Truly greatful for my family and having such a close tie to all of them.

We love them and will miss being so close to them but know that they are having a good time living the dream that they have... Tiffany is the one that is very happy now because she only has a SHORT hour and and half drive.

Pioneer Celebration July 25th

We were lucky enought to get tickets to see the Osmonds and the Tabernacle Choir singing in the conference center. After all that had gone on we were not sure we could make it but after running to Traxx and running to the conference center we made it... haha not an easy task for me. it was also 100 that day

Here we are in the conference center all together........ oh wait one person is missing we will call him PISTOL PETE! get the clue? He had to sit outside with a few other pistol petes..
Bad picture because of the no flash rule but the Osmonds did a wonderful job and we are so happy we got to be part of this wonderful celebration they all got flowers at the end.
This picture of the Temple is something I needed at the time we feel so bad for what little baby Dax has to go through and this setting really did bring a lot of peace to all of us.
After the concert we meet up with Linda and Mike and Margie and Duane so of course we needed to get a some what family picture.

Brody is going to make the best Big brother, he is so sweet and soft with other babies so I know he will do great with Dax. unfortunately he can not meet his new little (big) brother yet.

He is a very good boy even though he has to have the tube down his nose and a Central line in his belly for all the food and meds he needs. He loves his Mommy and Daddy to touch him.

Tiffany and her family came up on the 3rd of July so decided we would take a play day and go see Brandon at Snowbird. We started the day with a great lunch...
Then on to the Alpine slide Go Tiffany Go.
Brody loved being outside all day and finding all sorts of fun treats.
Then on to South Salt Lakes fireworks.

Brandon was the "Pre show entertainment.
Cute Margie and Duane came to join us. We love you and are so happy you spent the night with us.

What a fun weekend we had on the 4th we went to a Fireworks show and Veterans celebration out in tooele. There was great food and fun entertainment to be had. Brody loved the buffalo and it was cool to be so close to it

Coming home we could see a BIG cloud of smoke, as we got closer we could see the flames so we had to stop and take pictures. Still not sure what caused it but we watched it grow bigger and bigger. I was very glad that it was just in a field so no one was hurt.

What a great time we had Moab for a week as you can see by the pictures we founds LOTS of fun... Poor Logan didn't even get a say in some of it but he is so good all he says is more daddy more water. We rented a jeep one day and went to Gemini bridge what a fun ride that was very bumpy but a lot of fun. The water was in Onion creek That was such a fun road I think we crossed the water 27 times. The last picture is so funny to me because as I would look up from the back seat all I could see was my cute little Dad's arms and head trying to peek over the front of the jeep (we went uphill alot). We are so grateful for Family and love all that they do for us. Thanks to the Harwood Family for a GREAT TIME. We love you.

I have always heard that The Jersey boys was something that we had to see so as soon as they came to Vegas I had to get tickets.. and of course I had to get Mom and Dad tickets too, they have go with us like it or not.

I have to say I am not really sure why I went to see the stars because I am so afraid I don't enjoy it at all... at one point I was crying and Could not get by them. I know that they are not real but I made Ray touch them to show me that they would not move.
After being in there for an hour it did get better but I still am very nervous about touching them. It really was fun to see how big or small they really are.

I was so Happy after Bush told us that gas was going back to .50 a gallon

Vegas or Bust

Stetson loves to play baseball and we love to see him play so Mom, Lindsey and I thought we would take a trip to see him, the boys could not get off to go with us but we went anyway. First stop Dinner at Chipotle.
Then off to shopping. We first went to the best make-up store I have ever been in, Tiffany and Mom are trying the lipstick. yucky I don't want any of that touching my lips.
But I did let Tiffany put the eye make-up on, don't you think she did a great job? I tried my hand at it too. this is after we are all made up.
Next stop the sunglasses, Mom looks like the dude on CHIPS.. ha ha what is his name? Erik Estrada?
Day 2: we made our way to the outdoor outlet mall. WE LOVE THIS PLACE.
Perfume anyone?
Of course we had to take the time to stop and play. Hayden with his Best smile :-)

Next stop that day the Baseball game. 5:00 in Las Vegas and the sun is HOT.

Hayden loves to take the nylons they have at the shoe stores and put them over his face this time he got me too. (I hope it was clean) We had a lot of fun at the game to bad they lost.
This is a picture of Mom's toe after she tried to get out of the water fight Tiffany and I were having at the ballpark. You can't really tell but it broke half way down and took the nail off down to the skin. OUCH!
But it didn't hurt bad enough we couldn't shop more.
Day 3: off to Coca-Cola and M&M store.

Brody didn't really like this part he was very happy to sit in his stroller and she what he could grab.
Next stop the International taste test at Coca-Cola.
I don't think I need to say anything.
Then we walked down the strip to Margaritaville for some lunch.
Yummy.
Then we stopped at the Flamingo to see their wild bird exhibit
This was a very fun place for the kids. No shopping.
Next stop Planet Hollywood and the Miracle mile of shopping... Yes we found more cookies and believe it or not we paid less in Vegas than we did the mall.
We did have to stop and watch the people that perform in the center of the mile of shopping.
Day 4: Gathering up all our treasures and making room in the car to go home. We Love Trader Joe's and always make time to go there a do a little bit of grocery shopping.
Thanks to Tiffany for letting us invade her house for a few days We Love and miss you.

Little Wild Horse Canyon the best kept secret in Utah

We have found it...... The best slot canyon in Utah.

We needed to get away so bad after the "Wonderful Winter" we have had so we started looking for a place to go, it just so happens that Ray and my Mom found the same place Little Wild Horse Canyon

It was so much fun the slots are VERY tiny in some place and we really did have to climb the wall for people to pass.. ha ha let me tell you how fun that was. I guess it can have a lot of water in it at times but the book also tells you that if you see lots of cars in the lot don't worry you will lose them all in the canyon... Well we didn't and for part of the time I really thought I was standing in a line at Disneyland. There was a ton of people there, how this has stayed such a secret to our family with all the knowledge of Jess and Brandon I will never know.
This just kind of shows you what you have to go through and how tight it can get inside here.
This is the best canyon we have been in. I think it would be fun with a little water in the bottom because there really is places that you have to climb up high and hang on so the 30 other people trying to come down the canyon can.

We had so much fun making the people wanting to pass us wait while we got perfect pictures..
Most of the canyon is no more than 3 feet across and for a big part of it you can not see what is in front of you

it really was a lot of fun and we would love to plan a trip with the family to go explore This beautiful place. After leaving Green River early Sunday Morning we couldn't decide what to do it was still early and we were not ready to go home so I said I want to try to get to Delicate just one more time before I know I can't do it anymore I am getting old you know.. :-( So we set out to Delicate and the winds decided that they were going to follow us. I'm sure they thought we would not make it either Guess what????????? WE DID IT.!

Ray Me Mom and Dad all made it to the top in 1 hr...

The whole hike the wind was blowing but it helped us. For the 4 handicapped people that we are, bypass surgeries , hip surgery, many stomach surgeries , heel pain, pneumonia, and other various sickness' we were SO proud of ourselves

I am sure at times the wind was blowing at least 50 MPH. This picture if goofy because it is our self portrait thanks to Rays long arms. It was so much fun and we are so thankful for the time we get to spend with my Mom and Dad. Thanks guys we love you and we miss Miss Missy............. (aka the GPS she tells you where and when to go)

Godiva Anyone?

So we went to the Mall last night and as we walked by the Godiva store I saw the biggest sheet of the biggest Macaroons I have ever seen. But then I saw this sign, I started to laugh and the poor girls in the store just looked at me with the most confused look, I said to them people really would think these are samples??? maybe it was just the mood I was in. Lindsey and Ray thought I was crazy too.
I am not sure you can see the bottom of this, but it is the cookie and the word Godiva is stamped all over it. Come on is it really that good?
We had to find out and yes they are good but not sure they are worth the $3.25 per cookie But they are very good.

Where's Brody?

I was cooking dinner tonight and Brody was helping me since he couldn't be with his favorite pal Grandpa.. We (Ray) is still trying to paint the house.

It got really quiet and so I went looking for Brody and this is what I found. Check out the flavor of the crackers.

All he could do was look at me and smile When I asked him what he was doing he handed me the box as if to ask me if I wanted one.

He then got smart and got back in the pantry to find something he Really likes. He is becoming a spit fire with a whole lot of energy. I guess this is a much better option than what he really likes the DOG FOOD.

On Wednesday's Mom and Dad bring dinner out to help and to visit Grandma so we thought we would dye Easter eggs that night. Brody wanted NOTHING to do with it he just kept trying to throw them off the cupboard.

After seeing what everyone was doing he decided it would be ok to try.

I think more got on his hands than the egg.

Monday after a long day at work I opened the garage door and pulled in, little did I know that Ray was painting and had put the 5 gallon bucket of paint in MY parking spot.

I felt something bump and so I quickly backed up and pulled forward again. I opened my door and without a clue asked Lindsey "What did I hit?" Lindsey's eyes about popped out of her sockets as she said OH NO IT'S THE PAINT. I knew I was in TROUBLE.

I really am not sure how Ray knew but he came running out and needless to say he WAS NOT HAPPY with me. How was I suppose to know he was inside painting we have been trying to get it done all winter but with all the sickness and Grandma I just figured it would be awhile before it got done. I better go I have to run to Lowe's to get 5 more gallons of paint. :-(

Grandma has been with us for the last week and in that week I have learned a lot of things... I am grateful for the legs that still carry me even if I do have to stop and take a break. I would have never believed that a lady of 91 years old could have the will to get walking again and do as well as she has. What a blessing she has been in our lifes. We have been able to talk a lot about " Old Times". I never thought that you could forget the name of your Mother in Law.... but you can, You will forget the year your husband was born and you do forget what they look like. ( so even when people don't like their picture taken take it anyway). I Love hearing all the stories of her teen years and yes even back then they THOUGHT that their parents didn't know what they were up to. She is a funny lady and I love her to death. The title of this post is It's go time because the walker has become her best friend she really does not like it but she puts up with it and puts up with us telling her all the time to slow down. Lindsey found this shirt that says it all....

After getting them over to the room that is here in the Hospital they were tired but wanted their hair done so bad. They both were so happy to have their hair all done and feeling human again.

Ok, So we have had the week from He** Ray has pneumonia, Brody is trying to cut teeth and has a cold and Lindsey is sicker than a dog with a cold. So far so good for me and Jon :-) Grandma Little Fell down on Saturday and broke her right hip and is recovering at St Marks she is one strong women for being almost 91 years old. It really makes me greatful for good health.

Baby Spice AKA Ray's Love

As most of you know Ray LOVES the Spice Girls! In July of 07 they announced that they were going to reunited and go on tour and it all was a big secret, so they had you register for a drawing that would let you buy tickets when they went on sale if you were the lucky one picked. ...still not saying when it would be so we registered and hoped for the best. Everyday Ray would ask me have you heard anything from the Spice Girls yet and everyday I would say NO, this went on for 4 month almost everyday being asked if I had heard, imagine the surprise when Monday morning ( October 1st) I went to work and had an e-mail that I was one of the millions of people picked to have a chance to buy tickets. Oh no what do I do, do I hope I can afford tickets , do I call Ray and tell him, do I not say a word because I just know I can't afford them...... I had registered for the Vegas show thinking that it would be the best since Tiffany lives there and we would have a place to stay... In the matter of 1 hour all by myself I decided that I would try and get tickets and we would go..... I did get tickets and we were so excited!!!!!! (We have waited for 10 years to go....) Then Zach and Jamie drop the bomb................We want to get Married in December.. oh no this can't be We have tickets to the Spice Girls on the 8th of December and we are going so you will have to plan around that. The date was picked and so it was the 12th of December ha ha for those of you that will have kids getting married DON'T LET THEM TALK YOU INTO A WEDDING IN DECEMBER. We said that will be fine but We are going to Vegas on the 7th and we will be back on the 9th.... December people in Utah we really wanted to go bad. the Day arrives and we are getting ready to leave and it starts to SNOW. My Mom is saying you can't go in this weather but I say oh yes we will be fine. We did make it and all went well.

Well this is the first go at this. I have always wanted to have a way to keep up with family and friends ... so here goes. This Year Christmas was so great we always go to Grandma and Grandpas house for Christmas eve and what a crowded house we have there is 25 of us and 11 of thoses are KIDS so it is also very loud. We always have such a good time trying to remember what christmas is really about. This year we did the nativity with lots of songs and hand puppets, Bronson got so excited when we sang Away in a manger he knew that one so he was happy to chime in
